You need to do upfront medicals and submit the medical paper that doctor gives you along with other documents. So go ahead with setting an appointment with a panel physician.
All supporting documents need to be ready before you submit your application. There is an exception for PC for the countries where it takes longer than 60 days to obtain PC. In that case, you need to provide LOE stating that you need more time to prepare it.

All the best,

Thanks Han! I will deal with the medicals immediately. I need an FBI summary which I applied for on 29 Oct in anticipation, and still no sign. Anyone have an idea of what the LOE should say? Thanks

Does anybody know how to apply for a bridging visa?

I submitted last week (Jan 13th) and got what I can only assume is the AOR almost immeditally after, but my work permit expires on the 3rd of March and I don't see this process being finalized by then. Any advise or does anyone else need a bridging visa to see them through?

Adding myself to this Group :

ITA : 18th Dec 2015
App. Submitted : 20th Jan 2016
AOR : 20th Jan 2016

All the best to all of us!!

You will have to apply for one using the AOR letter. You should apply immediately. After you apply with AOR, you will get one soon enough, and you will be in implied status. If you are working, you can continue working with your implied status.

I wish we had a spreadsheet for people who got AOR in January! ::) ::) ::)

Hey guys i made spreadsheet for January but website is not allowing me to post a link
Can anyone help please?

You may send the link to me as personal message then I will post it here.
You can also put the link in your signature. ;)

Hello guys, today I submitted my PR application under the FSW. After, I got a message in mycic telling that the application is accepted by CIC and will be processed in 6 months. Is this the AOR that everybody is talking about?
