@diran_ayo - if understand correctly, for baby to travel to Canada along with you will also need a Passport and Visa too. How are you planning to tackle that situation? Before baby is born, you cannot make passport. And you cannot even inform CIC as you yourself will not have details.diran_ayo said:Dear All,
I have a situation here, my wife is due to have a baby by May 3rd tentatively.. however the pof submitted can only cover 3 (me, my wife and daughter)..
should I hold on to see if the PR comes before the due date or make a CSE now and submit another pof (in this case my wife's bank account) to increase the total pof so it can accommodate for 4 ?
Please assist..
So I have to wait for which ever comes first.. either baby comes b4 PR or vice-versa..shahkunalm said:@diran_ayo - if understand correctly, for baby to travel to Canada along with you will also need a Passport and Visa too. That will be up to your doctor and the airline. Neither may allow in the 8th or 9th month.diran_ayo said:So I have to wait for which ever comes first.. either baby comes b4 PR or vice-versa..
now the other twist is if PR comes b4 baby, will they allow us to travel with 8-9 mnths pregnancy ?
Yes, they will. If your baby is born in Canada, then the baby becomes a Canadian citizen so no issues about adding the baby to your application. Right now, you just have to wait for either event A (COPR and landing before child is born) or event B (child born before landing) to occur. If event B, then you add your child to your PR app by contacting CIC. Best wishes to you and your family.diran_ayo said:So I have to wait for which ever comes first.. either baby comes b4 PR or vice-versa..

Remember, you can only travel until the 32nd week. Also, CIC will give you only 30 days to add your child's details like birth certifcate and passport once you send them a CSE to include your newborn.diran_ayo said:thanks all..so I will jst wait for either of the event to occur first..

I am the mail applicant and the proof of fund that i sent to CIC is under my spouse name.
Do they agree??
i read in the forum that if the account is under the name of your spouse then it would be ok. but now i was checking CIC website and they didn't mention anything about spouse name!
