Thats the same case with me.. BG is showing "Not Needed at this time

She waited for almost 7 months, zero update until she got the PPR. And the PPR email was sent to her on a Saturday, Singapore time. So don't lose hope and all the best!

" since day 1.. but file was transferred to NDVO since 13th June (more than 7 months since AOR)
 
hi guys...can someone advise on how long (in avg) it takes to get the visa after sending out the passport to Singapore VO? i understand the PPR says 30 days...but has anyone here received the passports back earlier than that?
is there a way to expedite the process? i need to travel on an urgent basis but my passport is stuck with Singapore VO.

Unfortunately SG VO are the slowest in issuing CoPR, in the past it has taken max of 30 days. My suggestion is to write to SGVO and explain them about the urgent travel situation.
 
Now a Days NDVO's response time is also more..

I have received 1st AOR in Jan-16 and my background check is in process from 19th June 2016 but still no update of PPR..is there any timeline by CIC or duration it will take as its almost near to 8 months..

My timeline is pretty much the same as yours.

FSW-Outland
VO-Ottawa
RPRF 12th July
No further updates
IRCC says, BG Check is in progress. Some checks are complete while others are in progress.
And yes, the wait is killing me too.
 
Raise another CSE and call them up again. Someone might actually start working on your files again. So many people from Jan AOR are still stuck. Will be almost 8 months now.

in my case it was 3 weeks , some folks submitted on June took upto 6 weeks.

I did receive a response recently. Will raise another CSE.
 
Damn hope every one here has gotten the PPR atleast . got my PR Card in the mail last week . from start to finish id say about 7 months

yes i paid rprf fees last week wednesday and i got ghost email on saturday plus my background status changed to inprogress second time on friday.

If your BG went to IP on friday then probably the saturday update e-mail was in connection to that update
