AOR- 01/29/2016
Medical passed - somewhere in feb
RCMP fingerprint asked- Late Feb
RCMP fingerprint submitted - March

Since then my background is in progress...

So I ordered GCMS notes on June 2nd, 2016, got it today...Kindly help me understand where I stand, the main points in notes says the following:

ANALYST RECOMMENDATION - Recommended Pass
Analyst Notes -
A11.2 appears met
R75(2) FSW MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS -Appears met
R76(1) a-SELECTION CRITERIA- FSW POINTS- Appears met . FSW points total 79
R76(1) b- Funds- Appears met
RPRF: Complete. Ready to Finalize

Then it gives details of all the points I scored in CRS, and it says the duties are according to NOC.

So my question being, whats next and any idea how much time ??

Security check. Is criminality check passed?
 
Looks like we wont hear anything with public holidays in Canada and US. Seems like there will be a PPR rain week of July 11th for everyone in bgc in progress.
 
Does anyone know if bgc goes to in progress after 5.5 months...what all is checked? Would employers be contacted?

It seems all the checks are done, except security.

BG check consists of 2 parts - documents check and Security check. The first one includes also the verification of ref. letters, so gcms notes even show that they can web search for a company's information, and may call an employer in case they need some clarification.

The letter format has changed it seems or it would be like this for sinp
In my rprf letter, it was mentioned that rprf is outstanding.. and I need to pay it before decision could be taken..

This is new. I don't think there's much difference though. There may be various templates simply.

I really hope so. Looking forward to see almost everything is passed in GCMS soon.
 
Thanks valsanail. I did not order GCMS notes so not sure if anything was done or not in the last 5.5 months. If its only a security check remaining then PPR in a week or so is possible. But if none of the documents were looked at until now and they are just beginning to process the application...then this BGC in progress may last more than a month...only time will tell

How many days after receiving the COPR and passport back can we do the landing ?

Is there a forum topic which can help me in the landing procedure like what docs and things are needed etc.

You can go right away. Take all documents that you uploaded with your application for your own satisfaction.

I just received my "ghost email" today I think. Hoping this means PPR in the next few days :)

same here....i had to submit singapore pcc hence my bg check was already in progress
