PPRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

In the morning, when I checked CIC, it showed updated without any change and Just an hour back I received PPR email.
After my medicals this was the only mail I got, which mattered the most.

I want to thank all the fellow members for helping me throughout the process and wish everyone get their PPR very soon.

Here comes the letter in my CIC requesting for Passports to be submitted for London Visa office. Attached with this letter is the Sch A to update information. Hope this is what we call PPR......!!!

Next question is that my home country is Pakistan but I am in Saudi. Can I submit passports here and they can be transmitted to Islamabad office Pakistan?

I have got 30 days and submitted on the same date.
Waiting since June 8th, still no ppr mail

Is your BGC in progress though?
Also what kind of info did they ask for about the military records?

Got my PPR on 21st june and I have renewed my passport today on 22nd june to send it for stamping as it was under 6 months time frame, my question is do I have to send both my old and new passport when I send for stamping or just new one? Experts advice?

I got the email of Ready for Visa/PPR this morning I felt forever until I got it.

FSW inland with LMIA
Jan 27th AOR Received
Feb 4th Medical Passed
June 22nd PPR

New member here. As many others I have been reading for a while now.

Wanted to give my time line:

CRS: 461
November 4th 2015: EE profile online
December 4th 2015: ITA
January 12th 2016: AOR
January 24th 2016: Medicals passed (this is more of a guess)
June 19th 2016: Background check in progress
June 21st 2016: PPR

My application was done by our great sponsor of the forum Canadavisa. As such I am not entirely sure in what class I can be categorized; FSW inland or outland. Perhaps some more senior members can shine some light on this. Let me just write down how you can come to either one. I live in and am a citizen of the Netherlands which would result in FSW outland. But since Campbell & Cohen have done my application and their office's address in in Montreal this could be classified as FSW inland. Again, I am not sure about this, but I think it is FSW outland.

Yesterday, I received the ready for visa email that was dated one day earlier. So it was a good day. As of late, I became kind of nervous because of all the messages of background check in progress and PPR but as you can read, it all worked out! Next stop CoPR, which I will send my required documents to Vienna early next week.

I got PPR ....really happy ...and best of luck to all who is waiting.

I have one question ,
I was FSW inland while I applied but right now I am in India and getting married on July 7/2016. I want to include my wife also . So what I have to do rightnow . change VO or wait till get married and let them know after or anything else?

Also I got my work permit approval with LmO and visa on my passport and I am returning on July 30. So will it affect my PR file ?

Random question. My background check went into progress yesterday (finally!) but how come in terms of documents, it says "No additional documents are needed at this time." According to what that means:

"No additional documents are required at this time may mean we have not yet received an application for permanent residence. You need an invitation to apply before you can submit an application for permanent residence. It may also mean we have received the application for permanent residence and we are reviewing the documents provided."

Obviously they received my applications and documents, so should I be worried this never changed?

Don't worry about that. Usually Medicals and BG are updated in mycic

YAYYYY!! PPR FINALLY!! 5 months and 7days after AOR

Ecstatic at the moment but something in the READY FOR VISA mail I find is scary. It has a section where it's written NOTE: This is not a guarantee that a visa will be issued to you. - do I need to worry? Or it's the same with everyone?
