Just noticed my background check changed to in progress. What does this signifies?

Everyone between 15th Dec and 7th Jan are receiving BG IP these days.
On inquiry, one of the applicant got latest message that, processing is completed at our office and file is transferred to local VO.

17/01/2017 Medicals passed, and BG: NN >NS

No updates after that, not even a schedule A or 4 request, even though I answered yes to some of the visa-related questions! Anything to worry about?

Ok so I think you are talking about the text under "Details" and "Messages" columns. The under both the columns stayed the same for all BG changes. however if I remember correctly, Details entry changed to "Updated" when Meds passed and it changed to "Action Required" when documents were requested. It now reads "Submitted" after I submitted the requested documents. In addition, every time there was a new message in my application page, which so far happened for the application transmission, the AOR letter and each document request, the entry under "Messages" changed to "Unread" or "New" ( I am sure it changed to something bot not sure what exactly haha).

About a week or two ago when I "viewed my submitted application", I noticed that all the titles for me and my spouse's positions were updated by CIC....now when I look, they are back to saying "Employment Record 1, 2, 3 etc.....Wonder why that is??? : : :

check it again tomorrow it will be okay. They might be working on that filed right now. your BG check is going on.
