Status Update:

I have paid RPRF upfront. How do I know whether my app has crossed R10 and A11.2?

My timeline:
Ontario PNP under CEC Outland
eAPR: 03 Dec 2016
Medical passed: 06 Dec 2016
BG Status: 03 Dec 2016 Not Needed, 06 Dec 2016 In Progress, 19 Jan 2017 Not Needed

Can anyone give some lights on what might be going on with my application? Will my file be with NDVO?

Mostly you are fine with eligibility with R10. And A11.2 cleared and file transfered to LVO. You cannot know VO and will have to guess. After 3 months you can order gcms to know VO but I don't think GCMS helps otherwise so don't recommend.

GCMS is something similar to right to information act in India. More details here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp
 
FYI today I got really impatient and applied for GCMS notes. :P

It was under the Privacy Act and was free.

Yup, inland applicants have the privilege of applying for GCMS notes under the privacy act for free :) . Notes give valuable information and can indicate if there are any problems with your application (which you can try to correct if at all possible)
 
question... for how long is the visa valid after u get PPR and ur visa gets stamped ? one year from the date of stamp or one year from the date of ur medical test that we have submitted along with the application.

Your visa/COPR typically expires when your medical test expires. So, it is 12 months from the date on your upfront medical form.

so what happens if ur visa expires due to any reason and u cant land in canada in the specified time ??

Your visa/COPR are cancelled. You have to apply again (back to square 1) if you want to move to Canada.

However, under extremely demanding circumstances (death of family member, hospitalization etc), the officer might make an exception on Humanitarian and Compassionate grounds.

You lose the chance to get PR and it's all a new beginning.
