Hi guys. I just accepted the Ontario nomination. The issue is: my wife is studying in Vancouver at the moment. For the upfront medicals, is it OK for me to do mine here in Ontario, while she does hers in Vancouver? Will that create any conflict of interest as per our intention to reside in Ontario? Another question, please: as anyone successfully applied for PR with RAship (research assistantship) as the primary NOC? Thanks.

submit your eAPR before 23rd Jan and your profile will freeze and not expire.

Just submit your e-apr within the deadline, which is provided to you. It was 60 days before, I don't know what is it now. My profile was expiring on 16 Nov and I submitted my e-apr on 22 Nov after receiving ITA on 2 Nov. Your Nomination will be valid for 6 month from date of issue. Good luck!

Do you mean to say that your funds are not 6 months old and just 3 months old? In hat case show the source of funds. where did you get the funds from. If it is a gift from parents attach a gift deed.

It was not a gift. In fact it was in a one-year deposit and when that deposit expired I opened a new deposit account in the same bank and transferred the money to the new one 3 months ago. I have gotten a letter from the bank saying that the new account is the extension of the older one. But, they have not mentioned the new account number and just mentioned the amount of money and the date of money transfer from the expired account to the new one which is the same as the opening date of the new account.

Than it is not a problem. Just attach old FD certificate with it. Explain it if you want to in LOE. You just have to explain where the money came from.

I have attached the extension letter to my POF. Do you think it is wise?

Yes it's normal and many applicants have got it blank for few days. Might be they are working on your file. Nothing to panic. You just have to check it daily for any additional doc. Req.
