There is a confusion that upfront medical exam result is valid for 6 months only. Is that true? Cos my IELTS is expiring on Feb 7th, and I have received nomination on Dec 22, yet to receive ITA. I want to get it done to save time.

Not true it is valid for 1 yr

HI All,

Is anyone sure of the process of submitting passport for stamping? DO they ask for the latest passports or even the older/expired passports?

Any confirmation as per experience will help.

Thanks in advance

Hi all
I have a situation.

I submitted my documents for PR on dec 15th. And I got married last week. and also the funds I have shown them in Fixed Deposit. The fixed deposit also got expired after submitting all documents, hence I created new Fixed deposit.

Do I have to update CIC about the new FD account details? If yes how?
My wife is already a PR holder, but living in india from last 6 months. How to inform CIC about this change?
Does my proof of funds increase from 1 to 2 applicants now?

Hi guys,

We are a couple from Egypt, we got ITA under FSW and we need you help to fill the client detail correctly for the upfront medical test:

Husband is the principal applicant, should he be EDE OR NON EDE, WORKER OR FAMILY
For the spouse, what should be mentioned under her client visa details too?

Please do not believe/spread these fairy tales before checking on official IRCC site

"Your medical exam results are valid for 12 months only. If you do not come to Canada as a permanent resident within that time, you may need to have another exam."

please help

I am filling address history .the form is asking to update address for past 10 years without any gaps . Now I have lived at my home address ( which is also my current address ) twice in the past . After submitting each entry it asks if this is your current address . I said yes for the last( most recent )entry BUT if I say yes for the previous entries where I have lived at my home address it won't let me put the end date ! What do I do ? Can I just write NO for the previous two entries and put the end date to it .

Also if I just mention my home address once in the current address section it will leave gaps in times for the previous instances that I have lived at my home Address .
