I recently got my ITA (3 days back) and I am preparing my documents for eAPR. I am applying through a consultant/lawyer.

He has advised me to immediately get my medical done (Upfront) and also arrange for PCCs
While I have already got my PCC, I was contemplating whether should I get my medical done immediately...??? or should I delay it for some time.... (that way I will have a longer time-frame to do my first-landing in Canada because I read that we are supposed to Land before expiry of Medical) Am I missing something here.... Is my thinking correct or am I grossly wrong ?

If I can delay... when is the Latest, by which i should have my Medical exams done ?

Sorry if it sounds lame and stupid, but I thought That's exactly the purpose of this forum... to learn from discussion.

If you have one year to enter Canada from the day of your medical exams, so if you want to push it forward (landing that is) then delay your medicals until the furthest possible.

What will help you the most is minimum gap between medicals and eAPR. SO GIVE MEDICALS AND APPLY IMMIDIATELY. This will give you maximum time to land

this might be not so intelligent question but just wanted to ask the experienced forum members about how the process has been so far after nomination ? I mean as an OINP nominee do we all stand a better chance of getting PR compared with non PNP candidates ? As far as the eligibility is concerned OINP has passed our eligibility under FSW or CEC . So as long as our medical , criminal and security grounds are clear PR must be 100 % right ? Please share your thoughts !

Hey Bestofluck,

I received a notice to complete schedule A on December 22. I submitted the form on December 24.

My medical information has not been updated as yet as it states it isn't needed at this time so will keep you posted. I however did my medical back in October so hopefully it should update soon.

I received my Draw on December 11th, I am about to complete the E-apr application as I have traveled to a lot of countries & needed facts straight.

Few questions for you please-
1.the system automatically picked my internship that I did in 2007 shall I keep it or delete it?
2.After completing the Apr what can I prepare for ?
3. What are the next steps after this ? How can one prepare proactively.

I am in Australia since September and my wife has flown down to Austalia couple of days back. She is on Maternity leave right now and planning to live here till the delivery of the baby (few months). I need your guidance in knowing how should I convey this information to Canadian Government?

There is a confusion that upfront medical exam result is valid for 6 months only. Is that true? Cos my IELTS is expiring on Feb 7th, and I have received nomination on Dec 22, yet to receive ITA. I want to get it done to save time.
