I submitted Schedule-A and my BG check is in progress now.

you are the first one to get BG CHK as IN PROGRESS. We all have BG CHK from NS >>NN ONLY. Looks your file is moving fast. 3 nov app got PPR in 30 days. hope some in this group gets ppr soon.

whats the update ? has anyone application moved to next stage ??

my review of eligibility is still in progress.

Review of eligibility remains in progress until the last day when they issue PPR. The reason is we need to maintain crs above the score when we were invited.
The only update you get is Medicals passed and then St. away PPR. In between BH CHK keeps changing differently for everyone.

No wonder one day in 2017 we keep a get together for dec. group in Canada ;)

We should, it's a destiny. What gathered us here is way bigger then a coincident, it's a life route.

Best wishes man. I noticed from other threads PNP inland getting their PPR faster than outland's.
Good luck

I'm looking forward to it. :D

Guys, mine medical passed on Dec 06 and on the same day my BG status was In Progress. Is it a good sign?

Few certain other points, that might be one of our point of interest, on the following link, stated by Attorney David Cohen on FAQs:

"3. Is it necessary to stay in a particular province of Canada, if one has entered to province through a Provincial Nominee Program? If yes, then what is the minimum period to stay in that particular province?"

Canadian provinces and territories may select a pre-determined number of new immigrants to their provinces and territories through the Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs). Each PNP is tailored to the province’s or territory’s specific needs to select nominees who will be able to settle into life and work in the region and to effectively contribute to the community.

As part of the process of applying to a PNP, the applicant is required to submit a settlement plan and affirm that he or she intends to reside in that province or territory. Individuals immigrating to one of Canada’s provinces as a provincial nominee should have a genuine intention of settling in that province. Indeed, certain PNP categories, including some business categories, require successful applicants to live and work in the province on a temporary work permit. In these cases, if the applicant fulfils certain criteria, he or she may then transition to permanent resident status.

"Once an individual has obtained permanent resident status, he or she may live and work in any of Canada’s provinces or territories."

However, on my nomination certificate say No on Employment Restriction but does that mean, I can work anywhere in Canada? I tried to locate the same information in IRCC site, but couldn't. Can anyone give a brighter site on this?

Neel0526, The status In progress is a good sign. ( tell your timeline to update the list)

Secondly staying and working in the province we are nominated becomes our Moral responsibility, though they have not asked for any Bond to sign. It might be difficult later on in getting citizenship as I read somewhere, they will keep a watch on out activities and they may revoke their nomination even after landing.

Thanks bestofluck. Below are my timelines:
eAPR Dec 03, 2016 (Already updated in the list)
Medical passed Dec 06, 2016 (Already updated in the list)
BG In Progress Dec 06, 2016

Coming to the next one, I like Ontario a lot than any other province in Canada and love to stay there. This is just an information purpose I posted it. But Attorney David, mentioned about it means, there might be some fact about it.

I have also heard, some guy in the forum got nominated by Sask, landed at Sask, searched job in Sask for 2 months, didn't find a job. Then requested Sask to relocate to other province and they mentioned, they will revoke nomination but PR revocation depends on CIC. Pretty risky things after a long long patience test.

We are lucky ones to get nominated by ON. most of us will not require to move elsewhere.
