Any news dears? ...

:( Nothing. Its seems like after the new government took office, they have changed their priorities. A lot of people have had their BGC go in progress, but after that, there has been nothing. Calls to CIC have the same old routine, "your application is under review." Well I already know that. If you ask them and persuade them a little more, they will let you know when was the last document request sent and when they received the document. Which is so enlightening.

In my case they even went one step ahead and informed me that my BGC was in progress and I can hear about the decision from anytime now (March 6 when I called) until July.

Friends need a suggestion. We called Cic and they say that they had sent an email to us on 21st but they cannot be sure of what it was as the Cic agent does not have access to that email. Now they have sent a request to the head office to send the email again.Does anyone know if it is an approval nail and since it has been almost two months and we did not send the passport what can happen? Also is there is additional document request do they send an email or a letter? Thanks once again.

Did he say mail or email? Mail will refer to a MyCIC message. Email will be usually a PPR email.

Calling CIC is of no use. Send an email to your LVO. They have access to your files and will let you know precisely what is going on. When you call CIC, you speak to a call receiving agent and they can only access what we can see on CIC. However, with regard to sending an email to the LVO, and a CIC agent responds back and he has complete access to your file.

They usually respond back in 2-3 days.
