I added my wife (since I got married in Nov) to the file, for which I was requested some documents.

I was requested for those documents on Feb 8th, which I submitted on Feb 15th. Now something weird was mentioned by that agent. I was told that my IMM0008 was not submitted, instead what they received was my AOR copy (attached in that slot). Another request was issued on Feb 17th which was fulfilled on Feb 22nd.

I am shocked at my end thinking about this happening at that end. Because I submitted all the right documents, I have proof/copy of what I submitted. Moreover, I never received any more requests or letters from CIC for rectifying the document submitted.

Gives me a weird feeling right now but I cannot do anything. All I was asked after this was to wait.

I have friends who were in the same boat as me, same time line, same marriage situation, they submitted the documents of thier wife just 1 week prior to me, and they received their PPR in 2 weeks. Its been 2 weeks for me as well, nothing yet.

I'm sure there is nothing to worry about.. must be some technical error. I have a strong feeling that this week will bring good news for us.

Received ghost mail on Feb 20th. BG check changed fron not started to In progress on Feb 19th. No update then.

Its not a ghost email as it notified you of the status change happened the previous day.

PPR!!!!!!!!!

I had the most amazing friday ever, after waiting 5 months and 20 days and a terrible 2015, I got my beloved-dream-come-true PPR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I'm a little bit late to give the news but I was celebrating and without my computer during the weekend, ;D

I've been silent in this group, just a couple of posts, but I truly appreciate all the info and support shared on this forum, . And truste me, if I got mine, you guys all gonna get too, no worries about rejections at this stage, just matter of time,
