oct are getting ppr for CEC. CEC is one of the fastest categoties. Most CEC from September is already done.
Yeah thts wat i figured too .. lets hope fr best

No movement this weekend. I'm missing those good old days.

Second note,
CIC says that there are 4 case processing centers:

  • Vegreville, Alberta
  • Mississauga, Ontario
  • Ottawa, Ontario
  • Sydney, Nova Scotia

Are these the places where PR applications are processed? or is it all the Visa Offices?

Vegreville - Majorly for Work permit applications
Missisauga - No idea
Ottawa - PR and Citizenship
Sydney - PR, PNP PR

That's what it seems like for the October cases. Does any know if having Canadian work experience helps in processing times, they do give additional points for that but not sure if there is any benefit in the processing time with Canadian work-ex. Would appreciate if people with similar profiles can share their experience.

On page 61 of this thread you can find them. There is no owner. Its open. Everybody can edit. It was messed up once and then nobody updated anymore after that.

For all as well,

Please update September Spreadsheet.

(also available under my profile info)

I've updated September spreadsheet and there were new information as well.
I've modified and arranged all data according to AOR received.
Ones with PPR are marked green and ones with BGC started are marked yellow.

In AOR oct thread , someone posted 3 pnp guys got PPR's today... how come people who applied in Oct are getting PPR? when there are still people who applied in sep under same category(PNP) are kept on HOLD.
I don't know on what basis they will issue this PPR's...

AOR : sep 24th.
BG: still under process.

I have got the renewal of my contract for this year. Just wondering whether i should let CIC know about it. I claimed an year experience from that and its irrespective of the contract date though. Whats your thought on that fellas?

we cannot compare our timelines because its a random process and there aa tons of factor that will affect the time of processing. for example- source of funds, educational institute, pcc area, experience verification.....

For last 2 week CIC have picked pace ppr's are literally raining today. So dnt loss patience by seeing others timeline. Relax good news is just around the corner.

Hey Guys
I got travel history form request for my spouse today. Anyone have idea?? why did they ask as I filled everything in the application.

I don't think so. I applied under CEC with plus 3 years work experience here. AOR sept 3. Medicals passed and background in progress. Still waiting. That's why I said earlier, I think this depends on the agents that review each application. Anyways, just the matter of waiting and not making assumptions on how they process it so we don't get panic, anxious....! Good luck to all of us September applicants this week!!!

Im also in the same as that of JC85 and read more than 4 times my 144 page GCMS notes to understand wat has happened to my application there are many status changes but final is its open and BG is in progress...i have a note too at that bottom and it says everything is verified and good but not moving further....waiting with patience thats all i can do...

just read Aug thread looks like there is again movement in the applications and people are getting Passport request so hopefully by end of this month Sep batch should start getting PPRs.
