It means there can still be a wait after these re-assessments. Glad you told me, now I will keep prepare myself for additional wait. I hope you get your PPR very soon and me toodollcie said:I also received the same email to get reassessment of meds from New Delhi VO.. He told me my application is still under BG check. the decision should be made any time from today and July 24, 2016. I asked him if he could see something negative or flaws in my application. He replied that everything looks OK. That the most information i could get from CIC.

I started a new thread for those whose BGC is in progress and waiting, feel free to join in:

How can it be 12 months, when 80% from Sep App (according to the sample in the forum) got there PPR in less than 6 months.Fswsky said:It is weird that I got a different answer from my MP:
I spoke with a CIC officer today and was told the following:
-Your application was received on September 7, 2015
-there is no positive selection decision rendered yet.
-the background checks are not started.
-the medicals are valid until August 2016.
-the initial review was done October 13, 2015 and your file was assigned to an agent for March 24.
The current processing time is now closer to 12 months although it still shows at 6 months on the website.
If you require another update, you may do so by contacting me around May 24 to remind me.
I am sensing that rejection will come into my email some days later.
What is your timeline?Fswsky said:It is weird that I got a different answer from my MP:

After my BGC went to in progress on sep 3 I sent and email to Ottawa asking for a status update and this is what they answered:denga said:How can it be 12 months, when 80% from Sep App (according to the sample in the forum) got there PPR in less than 6 months.
I ordered on 1st March and I am expecting to receive the results by the end of this month.legalfalcon said:What is your timeline?
Usually the eligibility is cleared and BGC is the last step before the PPR. Priority is given to inland applicants, PNP, CEC and then Outland FSW. Did you order GCMS notes? What do they say?
I ordered my first set of notes in January, were delivered in early Feb and on them my eligibility was cleared. Ordered the second set, will have them by the end of this month. Keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best!Fswsky said:I ordered on 1st March and I am expecting to receive the results by the end of this month.
