Hi Friends, celebrating 5 months AOR today!!! :D :D :D
As a gift, received my GCMS this morning. Everything looking good, R10 and A11.2 passed, all officers review saying "I'm happy with documents and bla bla bla, we will make you happy soon, but not just now, keep waiting".

Anyway, I'm on a "PNP secure outstanding" pool as of now, last action was on Jan18th 2017 to ADM. It looks like most of PNP are in this pool waiting for the last BKG check for PPR...

Well wishes brother! could you please explain this term "PNP secure outstanding"?

Thanks

Not really, it is in the first page of GCMS:
...
Category:PV2
SubCategory: blanl
Group Name: PNP Secure Oustanding
...

I presume it is missing the last security to move forward, but that's just a guess based on the fact all others items are 'PASSED'.

This term is new, never read anyone else's GCMS notes reporting this.

True, just read another user reporting the same status on the JULY 2016 AOR...

No update from my side.
I guess PNP September AORs (inland) and PNP October AORs (inland) are very slow.
I don't see any PPRs from these groups. ???
Guys, please help! Any comments? Any ideas?
What's wrong with PNP inlanders???

I'm also seeing the same group in my GCMS notes, I'm a Aug 26th Inland PNP applicant.

Well they always say no news is good news! Though it's killing us, this is like a patience test.... Hope they wake up and work on our applications soon

Any CEC inland still waiting for PPR . AOR 18 Sept 16 and 2nd Background check changed to in progress on 13 Jan 2016 but nothing since then.

Any idea which PNP-Inland cases are being processed now? September? October?
I've heard from a reliable source that two October PNP-Inland cases finalized with PPR (October 5-6) a couple of days ago.

I think those Oct PNP Inland were exceptionally fast..
One of AUG PNP Inland (similar to my timeline but only had one document request) received PPR yesterday, and many other PNP Inland in Aug thread are still waiting, including me :D

My second BG Check has been in progress since 25 January (almost 1 month!).
The theory about shortly after second background check in progress you would get PPR does not apply for inland PNPs.
Another observation of mine is that there are some cases which had been processed within 4 months (I'm talking about Inlander PPRs), on the other hand there are also cases that had been processed in 6 months. My point is that there are no patterns. CIC was and is unpredictable.
One thing is sure, CEC inlanders are much faster than PNP inlanders. It is hard to comprehend this because they have almost the same profile. Why security check takes a longer time for PNP inlanders is a big mystery!
Another interesting observation of mine is that PNP PPRs come as a 'rain' just like other categories' PPRs which seems to justify the theory that several cases are processed together (not as single case). I think security investigation is processed to groups rather than single cases separately.
I appreciate any comments regarding my theories based on my personal humble observations.
Conclusion:
Trying to understand CIC's working style or to find out some patterns is good for killing time - although it does absolutely not guarantee to prevent you guys from flipping out! Wink

I felt same way as you. My second 2nd BG was changed to IP back in Nov. and I thought I would get PPR within 1~2 mo. But, no update ever since.

There was another observations that whoever went to the military takes extra time to pass the security.. (can't confirm because there are not enough samples)

The processing speed of PNP Inlander has been gradually slower since Mid 2016.. and wonder what is causing it.
