AOR 26 October, Medical Passed same day, ScA requested on 22nd March, after that no update, just one ghost email on 17th may,

I called them up and got reply that they doing my BG check ..

no action required from my end ...

Hi all @tocanadawego I am also in the same boat, found this forum after i crossed the 06 months milestone, this is my first post details as follows

AOR 26 Oct 15 medical passed one week after AOR

No update thereafter

BG in progress since 04 Mar 16

Ordered GCMS notes on 05 May 16

Received GCMS notes on 05 June 16 GCMS notes indicate security check in progress relevant text blanked out

Sent mail to visa office at NDVO....response received after a months indicating that BG checks in progress and no timeline for completion of the check can be given,no action required from my end....

Will have to wait and watch.

Hi @ krishan1310 I requested NDVO to indicate approx. time frame however NDVO has quoted in the email that they cannot give any time frame
as they have no purview over BG checks.

Dear Members,

I got my PR couple of months ago and I am landing in Canada in the first week of next month, thank you all for your support.

I just have one question, my port of landing in COPR is Toronto,however I have found an employment in Halifax and that is were I will be residing for a few years. My question was answered in this forum and it was can I land any place that I want and I understood that my port of entry necessarily need not be Toronto, but my employer's immigration team has advised me to land in Toronto first and then proceed to Halifax.

When I land I will not have an address in Toronto and when I submit the application for my PR what address do I mention in that? Can it be an address in Halifax?

I have not booked my tickets yet, your help will be very much appreciated as usual.

I usually rarely check this page so my reply is late. Yes Halifax address if okay. We had a friend do that. Landed in Toronto, gave Halifax address and got PR card.

it seems your application is definitely stuck somewhere, you can keep calling cic unless you get some useful information, most of the call center agent will tell you to keep waiting but you should keep trying calling again and again unless u r able talk someone who is really willing to help you

CPC Ottawa said my application is now in local VO. But no answer from local VO . A11.2 shows met

Wow, it sounds similar to ours. Ottawa says application is at local VO and no answer whatsoever from local VO. But we are trying to go in person and demand answers. Can you maybe go in person to your local VO? I think it might help surely.

Suddenly I got an email today from Pretoria office that as I have relocated to Bangladesh, I still have an option to send my passport to Pretoria office for stamping or I must contact to Singapore office how they can help with visa. There is no further instructions.

Should I send my passport directly to Pretoria office or to VFS Pretoria office? What should I enclose except passports and photos? Is there any complication to send passport to Pretoria from Bangladesh?

They also claim that PPR was sent to me in January....but that letter was with no instruction & no address also space was created in MYCIC to upload documents.

Finally feeling happy and wish all others will also get PPR soooon.

My previous company head manager just received a call from Hong Kong visa office, but he didn't mention clearly about my NOC 0212 job duties, since he doesn't know the stuff in technical department. he only said that I was in charge of some projects as projects manager.

Have u paid your RPRF fees? If after 8.5 months everything is in "Not Started" state then what the LVO is doing? :'(
