So you see fkl, Maple has the right to be worried but the only encouraging part is that it will eventually be resolved. :D

Every one has a right to be worried and I appreciate the anxiety one goes through when you are in this process, but if every one starts flooding CIC with inquiries BEFORE the expected time frame, they stop paying attention to most, including the genuine ones with immediately urgent issues.

Approved on April 21 or 22nd .... well its only been 2-3 working days. It's not long enough to worry. I think relaxing slightly (if enough people do it) would improve CIC's response.

After trying 30 minutes, managed to talk to an agent in Canada. He listened to me and opened my file. He told me that as my file is in LVO and I must contact LVO. He refused to provide any further information.

I found an option in LVO website to send a CSE for those who exceeded the normal processing time. It will take 10 business days to reply. So still in painful waiting.........

I'm guessing your LVO is SG. What does your GCMS indicate?

I had emailed SGVO regarding my tourist visa in September last year because the processing time changed from 13 days to 15 days and finally 17 days after I had submitted the application. On the 18th day, I send them a terse email asking them whether they would be processing my application as I had to travel in a weeks time. They processed my file in 3 days including the passport submission and collection. But then they are very unpredictable when it comes to Express Entry or PR applications.

There are lot of tasks have been done this week for my baby

1. Birth certificate collect from Clinic
2. Apply birth certificate from City corporation
3. Collect Birth certificate 2 days later from city corporation
4. Notarized the birth certificate
5. Paid fee from by newborn baby
6. took photo as per new specification of VO for my baby
7. Deposit money for passport
8. Make passport documents and submit at last.
9. Now going to send fee, photo, fill up form, notarized birth certificate to svgo by DHL or FedEx

Hope SGVO will understand all my pain and send me PPR ASAP.

My LVO is in Pretoria as I am in Southern Africa.

Can someone please tell me how to find where your file is being processed. I am based out of India but when I called CIC in March they told me that its routine delay...like the above case of NBOCT they didn't tell me to contact my local visa office which is New Delhi. Does that mean my file is being processed at CPC Ottawa ..I have already completed 8 months and BG in progress since 13 Jan 2016.
Thanks!!

Information is available in GCMS notes.

Hi NBOCT ...I have not yet applied for my GCMS notes till date as my consultant in India advised me against it. Just pasting my details which I have already posted on 6 months and delayed thread .

1. ITA: 17th July 2015
2. AOR: 26th August 2015
3. Medical Passed : 1 st week of Sept 2015
4. RPRF : 7th October 2015
5. Application Updated : 12th Jan 2016
6. BG Check In progress: 13th Jan 2016

Since then No communication from CIC.

Tried Calling CIC twice in March the answer was standard that there is nothing negative but its routine delay.
Raised one CSE April : Standard Answer : routine delay.
My Consultant has raised query for my application in March & April : No response to him by CIC.

My consultant is advising me not to raise GCMS notes as I have already cleared eligibility Criteria ( as mentioned in RPRF Letter) and as per him raising unnecessary CSE/GCMS request may sometimes result in rejection of the case even for minor errors which they normally ignore.

Any help is highly appreciated.

This is false and absolutely wrong. Now sure who your consultant is, but he sure does not have any knowledge of the process.
Any help is highly appreciated.

Most delays are because no one picks up the file and sometimes ordering the GCMS notes helps as the an agent is forced to open the file and if the file is sitting just for approval, he will clear it. I would highly recommend that you order the GCMS notes.

Hi taekwondo,

I agree with Legalfalcon. You should apply for GCMS notes. I applied through visafile.info and got it in 15 days time.

I don't think anyone started this thread yet - but it's still early in the month.
I just submitted my application and thought it would be nice to connect with others with similar timelines and share the experience and wait time.

My timeline is in my signature.

Hello Everyone just want to update I am sponsoring my wife from Nicaragua the visa office in charge for this country is in mexico ..we sent our aplication well they recieved it Oct 26th 2015 I was approved as a sponsor Dec 31st 2015 they started processing her application Feb 16th 2016 and on March 29th 2016 they asked for rprf payment 490$ and on April 28th 2016 Today they requested her passport along with 2 pictures. ..anyone know how far along I am or where we are at with the process plz thanks .

In my GCMS notes, under Application Assignment: "Assigned by and Assigned to" is the same code. Do u think it is ok?
In Application Finalize section, visa and counter foil information was created for all on the 19th Jan. 2016
Under Assessment, Final: Approved.............I don't know why no update since January 19. Is there something still remaining after application is Approved?

If I had always followed the advice my consultant gave me, I would have never gotten a provincial nomination, let alone an ITA. ::)

If you had already reached 6 months since AOR and your consultant's previous queries have been ignored, I would think it's enough reason to be necessary to try to order GCMS.

Thanks legalfalcon. I will apply for GCMS note now ...I dont think I have anything to loose here..positive or negative ...I need clarity on my case. To be very frank I went to one of the top immigration consultant of India ..and have realized that they actually do not know anything except sucking your money and giving you false information.
Thanks for your help mate.
