Sure! My occupation was advertising specialist and on my letter from company the duties seems to be more administrative then advertising and marketing. So first the officer called to my old boss and asked her about my duties and details about why she has chosen me? Where did she find me? Why am I not working anymore? And lots of details about my diuties in connection with advertising.

Then after few days I got a phone call and I was asked about my duties, why did I choose that company, how did I found it, did I know the owner before interview. It was quite scary but fortunately I fell bless that officer called me to confirm that instead of rejecting my file. God bless Canada!

I share your feelings completely. It seems like they won't open our files again for months to come.

Sometime I feel this will take forever ... when will this come to an end... :'(

@Tocanadawego, @Maverickjo and all others in waiting: I also reflect the same emotions, there was a time when I used to keep track of the running average processing time trends and used to hope for PPR by a certain day, but now it's an endless wait. Due to this situation the entire life is on a hold - we aren't taking many important decisions as of now as we aren't sure if / when CIC decides to do something about our application.

I hope they start shaking the slow processing applications as well...

Finally I received our passport back after stamp on 22nd and a long wait has come to an end !!!
The COPR mentions the destination name but is it possible to land at place other than mentioned in COPR ??

In fact our delayed application is a proof of the system inefficiency and lack of flexibility.. another issue is the response when we send inquiry and get answer after 4-5 weeks... even if an applicant had some issues with medicals or so, the logic says once its clear, then his application should immediately go back to evaluation..

I DONT BELIEVE how simply my file was not touched for the past 4 months?? dont those guys understand that people have families, kids, schools...etc?

Final Timeline:

PPR on April 7th
Passport sent to London VO via VFS on April 13th
Application approved and closed on myCIC on April 20th
Passport and COPR delivered on April 22nd (missed delivery), redelivered on 25th April

hello everyone

I AM CEC -INLAND APPLICANT , ITA -APRIL 7 , i almost done to submit my documents, I have question regarding vacation , i have shown 2 years experience however i took 12 days of vacation in 2015 , but i guess was paid or not paid i am not sure , as our company pay vacation on every pay stub every two weeks . Is it paid vacation as company is paying vacation every two weeks rather than end of year ? Should i wait for another 12 days or should be okay to apply now ??, Please help me with that question . ??? help seniors

SENT CSE.. takes them 5 weeks to answer

What on EARTH SHALL I do to get the status of my application!!!

Hi! I wouldn't worry about that. If you have Your COPR you should be fine . I have a question which might be stupid... From what I've been reading people are sending their passports to their vo's, in our case they only Asked for copies. Was it just us?

It got my GCMS today. It only take me 17 days to get it.
In the GCMS I found
A message create on 2016/02/27, said CPC-O RFV letter sent via email in a batch.No correspondence was generated as letter was sent in a batch via MS Word letter template.

I received my PPR Apr 19. And I order My GCMS Apr 08.

Does it means, PPR is already there for more than 2 months. But it's not send out success. So once I order GCMS and someone touch me case and then find the error.

So I suggest the person who still waiting for the ppr could order a GCMS first.
