I am a PNP applicant . AOR Oct 19th and have waited for 6 months. When I contacted to CIC, it turns out that CIC system has my email address wrong. My file was actually finalized back to Feb. It is just the wrong email address , so it hasn't been delivered to me yet. I was little surprised that they didn't try another alternative way to contact me instead of keeping sending to the same wrong email . Until now, I have still been waiting for the "Ready for Visa" , and hopefully it will come soon( the agent said it took up to 90 days) .
Once I knew this happened, I am actually not even mad at all. I am happy and appreciate everything. And I know and understand the pain and worries all of you who are still waiting for the final result.
I wish everyone is getting good news soon. Don't be panic ! Good things always take time to reach you!
Make sure to call CIC once you are reached to 6 months and confirm all your information!! Best wishes!!

Hi,

I am going to land in Vancouver 4th May.

I am from Germany (visa exempt country). Do I still need to get a eTA (electronical Travel Authority)???
Or is it enough to show only my CORP to the officer after landing?

xxx

Hi,
You are good to go. Yo don`t need eTA. You just need your passport and CORP letter. That is it. They will ask few basic questions if you are not a criminal etc. Then officer will sign CORP, you will sign CORP. He will keep one exemplar and you will have your other. Thats it. You are a landed PR. Then go and get your SIN etc.
Good luck.

If it helps. I sent passport from inland canada to Otawa and got all back in ~9 days.
Anyhow you need to be in Canada to send passport to Otawa. Canada Express Post will give you 2 day delivery from almost anywhere.

sent via dhl, AVO doesn't do prepaid return package, they send a PP pick up mail which I'm suppose to take to dhl to process and pay for a return. I am yet to receive such mail. :(

Why is CIC so slow right now? Why did 2/3 of octoberians get their PPR almost a month ago?

Sometime I am losing hope for this...

I share your feelings completely. It seems like they won't open our files again for months to come.

Finally I received our passport back after stamp on 22nd and a long wait has come to an end !!! :) :) :)
The COPR mentions the destination name but is it possible to land at place other than mentioned in COPR ??

Congrats. If you mean "which province" by destination, you can land any where in Canada except Quebec since you are FSW.

Even in Quebec you should be fine provided you have proof of onwards move outside of Quebec.
