Hello guys,

Can you please assist with details of how to apply for GCM notes? Hitting the 6 months mark next week and I think is about time I applied and got a clue as to what's happening with my application.

Thanks, y'all!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that ordering the notes just slows down the process, because Immigration Officers have to process these requests instead of processing the applications. 6 months IS NOT a long time to wait for a decision, compared to other Immigration streams, such as the family sponsorship, where people wait YEARS to be reunited. Just be patient. You're PPR will come. The more you think about it, the slower time will go....

IMO GCMS notes does not slow down the process. because these notes are accessed and processed by some other officer/assistant not the assigned Visa Officer.
we can think of GCMS system as a system in which all visa officers update their remarks for each application whenever they process that application. and those remarks and be accessed by any other authorized person from IRCC office.
So they might have assigned the job of accessing GCMS notes as per orders coming of applicants and then process those notes - hide any information which is not to be passed on GCMS and then send them to applicant.

I am not sure but it this the optimal way of maintaining GCMS system.

I am a November AOR FSW Inland applicant, so I am closely watching October applicant's progress.
It's been a while since we saw any progress with October FSW Inlanders. As per the tracker 8 people are still waiting.
Are you seeing any progress in your online application or in GCMS notes?

Hi,

I am going to land in Vancouver 4th May.

I am from Germany (visa exempt country). Do I still need to get a eTA (electronical Travel Authority)???
Or is it enough to show only my CORP to the officer after landing?

Oh great!! That's good that they are finally taking some CEC inlanders applications and issuing PPR

Application approved since on the 6th of April and I am yet to receive any news about my passport. Don't really know what's wrong. :(
