Finally wait ends....PPR received through mycic account. No email. Need to submit passports to New Delhi VFS in 30 days.

I am so excited.

Can somebody please confirm if there is a photo studio in New Delhi VFS ? If so, how much time do they take to click and handover the photos ?

Thank you everyone's help and support. All the best to friends who are waiting....next is your turn.

Landed on Friday, April 8th at Coutts (Alberta/Montana Border).

The officer was a little bit upset because we didn't call Edmonton to make a regular appointment. We apologized and it worked out fine, however she made a comment that "we should tell our friends that they should try to make an appointment in a visa office instead of driving directly down to the border".

Dear Acheivment & friends,
I would like to share u my news that I have received my PPR yesterday!, I apologize because I could not update u since I was extremely exhausted and depressed! I will tell u way, after I share with u my timeline, so
ITA: October 2nd.
AOR: October 15th.
BC: March 17th.
I am PNP.
I received my PPR through ADVO & CIC.

I would like to thank everyone who helped me in such adventure, also, I would like to thank Acheviemnt & Asivad for their tremendous support :)
NOW, my problem that I can't submit our passports since my wife's passport is submitted to be renewed on March 27 in our embassy in UAE, yesterday we contacted them to check the passport status and their reply was maybe another 1-1.5 month!!!
We do not have any relative in home country to check for us or to speed up the process!
In the PPR Letter it's clearly mentioned that we have to inform the Canadian embassy if we can not submitt our passport within 30 days!
So my friends I am depressed and really do not know what is the best option in my case!!
Ur input is highly appreciated.
Pray for u guys who are waiting their PPR.
Thanks

Did not receive any ghost email but bg status changed to in-progress on 15th April.

All,

My application was closed and approved last week, on the 14th. Although I still have not heard anything about my passports - how long should this take? Is it common to take more than a couple of days?

thanks.

Congratulations!

Sorry to hear about your passport issue, though. Communicate with ADVO and tell them about your wife's passport. Send your own passport and of your dependents(s), if any. Send a copy of your wife's existing passport and tell them you'll send your wife's new passport as soon as available. I think this is better than not sending anything and you'll have all visas ready by the time your wife's passport comes.

However, before sending anything, just wait for ADVO's response (write them an email ASAP)!
Relax and don't panic as your application is already approved, just a matter of stamping the visas.
Good luck!

Hey Guys,

I finally received my PPR. I would like to thank all of you for being such great companions during these hard times. I wish all of our other fellow Octoberians get their PPRs soon. Thanks to the AAA, the moderator, for keeping the spreadsheet update. You are awesome man!

Also one note for fun: my profile says my total logged in time in here was 4 days, 2 hours, and 58 minutes. Take care guys,

H

When we get passport renewed inUAE, there are two ways the normal or you pay extra for speedy work. Its supposed totake a week in latter option. It cost me around 1000 dhs to get my passport renewed . Can you go and check that if you pay extra now , they can get it done the second and faster way. Normal time is anywhere around 40 days to renew passport in Dubai.

Guys, Has anyone landed or called to book an appointment at CIC office(service Canada) in Edmonton, Red Deer or Calgary. If yes, whats the wait time. Thanks

In our case our return tracker was activated on the same day when application was approved and closed. If your return tracker does not get activated in another 2 days call CIC to check the status.
( I'm assuming your an inland applicant , it may differ in different visa offices)

Passports submitted.
