As I posted hours ago in this thread, I was lucky that one nice lady helped me look into my case and told me final decision not made yet and suggested me wait for a few days. Not much useful information, but at least I know the status of my application is normal, and no additional documents are needed. Hope PPR rain shower on us tomorrow. Good luck.

Is your application still under 6 months?

Statistically it's the fastest route. There could be some exceptions though.

I'm also CEC inland, AOR October 28 and haven't received PPR yet. Almost at the 5-month mark already.

No worries. The only requirement is for principal applicant to land first or together with dependents.

Dear Experts,

I will request you answer my query as well please.

In my case my spouse is the primary applicant, since she had more points I became the dependent applicant. We have received the passport request and I am waiting on CIC to move my file alone to Australia office so that I can send my passport for stamping.

From your posts I see that I cannot enter Canada first, I will have to either enter with my spouse or after my spouse enters. Can there be an exception to it?

Because it is easy for me to find a job and then get my family and additionally will I have any restrictions to work in Canada? I am assuming that I will still be able to legally work in Canada.

Please shed some light on my questions.

Regards,

Amit

I guess there is no particular reason that you come after here. The only bounding limit is her landing visa expiration date (which must be near anyway cause it is related to the medicals.). If she does not land within that limit, complex situation occurs to her.

Landing needs to be done by Primary applicant either first or with dependent. Dependent cannot land first.

Can SB please share the cic call centre number. Any particular instructions of calling them from outside Canada ?
