Got back : 10-Mar-2016.

its good to have US visa if u are crossing border to do the landing. Because if you don't have one US will refuse your entry to there soil and put a refused entry stamp on your passport (which I think u will not like to have).

IF you are going by road, than you don't need USA Visa, their are u turns to get you to Can border security without entering US Soil.
I know my friends who have done that at Rainbow and Lewinston Bridge.

Received GCMS today, surprisingly it says eligibility, security not started, in my CIC eligibility has been in progress ever since November. Towards the end the agent's review says : R 10 ok, all police certificates on file. India, Oman( that's one of the country try I was in) NRT( I don't know what's NRT) . Educational credential consistent, verified with ECA authority, IELTS verified. Job offer - edoc. Do I have anything to be concerned about here now? Had got a ghost mail on Sunday.
