What is going on with October applicants? this is annoying...

Medical: October 8th(around this date)
Nothing after that
Background: March 2 (changed from not started to in progress)
PPR: March 3.

Additional request NOV 11

Background check started NOV 25

Passport request Feb 26

Hi guys ,.

I need all your help here . I got PPR 10 days back and i placed a request for VO office change to within USA . Today i got a new message in the MyCIC account . When i logged in i saw status as "Your Action is Required " ...

There was new message from my local VO (New York) providing instructions for sending the passport (But i didn't get any email from lvo , i just got this message in MyCIC)

Also i see in application section "Review of submitted documents :We need an additional document from the applicant " ---- When i looked into the application section , they gave me a placeholder in the LOE section to upload a file .They just mentioned "Replacement Needed " as the heading --- But i don't know what to upload there ...

I am very confused , are they re -evaluating my application ? Am i going to get rejected ?

Did you try calling CIC to check? Doesn't look like a reevaluation, they probably just need some letter from you for the change related to visa office

I have a question here. I got my ppr few days ago and now I need mail my passport. I am in Canada, does it mean that I only need mail the photocopy of my passport but not the passport?

Did you try calling CIC to check? Doesn't look like a reevaluation, they probably just need some letter from you for the change related to visa office

Yes i called CIC , agent doesnot know what cic want me to upload . He said at this stage , either discard the request or just upload an loe asking what to upload .

I asked the same with my local vo and they said nothing needed to upload at this time .

I think (not 100% sure ) if you are from visa exempt country then photocopy is fine otherwise you have to submit passport.
