Got PR mail just now!!! Already Posted on the group.
Can you advice, How long does it take from the day you submit ur passport to get them back?? Actually, have a international travel after 23 days , so wondering wt to do !!!
Thumb rule it take 15 days to get back passport with VISA stamping.
Must check can you leave country without PR card after landing or you will do landing while coming back from International travel??

Hey guys, every once in a while I've been checked this forum.
Now I would like to share my PR journey. Everything started in December 15th 2014, when we applied for Canada Experience Class. Paper application. Our application got returned in 2015 because of the application cap limit. Later in 2015 I applied again though EE for CEC and got approved for CEC and FSW. As a result, got ITA in FSW. Following is my EE timeline:

EE - FSW Inland + spouse(outland)
ITA: Sept.8.2015
NOC Code: 0124
App submitted: Oct.29.2015
RFRF:Upfront
AOR: Oct. 29. 2015
Med's Request: Upfront
Medical Passed: Nov.15.2015
Review of eligibility - Review in Progress: Nov.15.2015
BGC in Progress: Nov.15.2015

Hi Guys,

My background check status still shows "not started", i am Oct 09 AOR applicant (CEC).

GCMS notes take approximately one month.
You will get it by Email.
I saw some applicant who were in same situation as you and one day everstatus changed and got the PPR request.
Did you pay RPRF upfront?

Sorry for your loss.

You must have been mentioned on your family information form, where they specifically ask for name, dob, current residence and even occupation. This info is part of express entry profile (or for that matter non EE profiles too) for every applicant. They also ask for year and location if deceased.

So some time latter say your another family member, brother / sister / father - some one applies for a trv and fills this info and states she is deceased, which does not match the info you provided for the same family. Although the argument that it happened after your application could be fine and I don't it is as serious as a misrepresentation, I would still say sending a simple case specific inquiry is enough.

It does not delay processing of your application in any way. Its just a small piece of info added to your file. That is the best approach.

Thanks fkl, will do the needful as advised.

I don't know if your High Commission will do it, but our Canadian Embassy usually extends submission deadlines for travel or renewals. You can request your HC and send them your travel itinerary/electronic ticket.

We share the same journey more or less. We too applied in December, 2014 and the application was returned to us in early February 2015. We too got ITA on September 8, 2015 and submitted our application on October 14, 2015. However, FSW Inland is the slowest moving category. We have to wait for another 2 to 6 weeks before we hear something from CIC.
