Hello guys

FSW outland is the slowest of all categories ???????

AOR 12th October..Have lived in 2 countries -India & UK

No updates since med passed :'(

Sara,

Is FSW outland the slowest? I thought it was a bit faster than Inland.

Nonetheless, let's hope for the best.

I am not sure..To me it seems like outland is slower. But as you said lets hope for the best

Following a call, my immigration consultant has informed me that my status is still unchanged. However, another applicant has just received PPR after a wait of around 6 months.

He is FSW Outland.

I believe that for us outlanders, processing time will vary between 5-6 months..

Good day all.

I hope we are all blessed by great news and progress of our cases this week Cheesy

Just a couple of questions:

1) By the time I submitted my application I did not have my PCC ready. I immediately applied for PCC and have received them now. Would you guys recommend sending them through via CSI (Case Specific Inquiry) or wait for them to be requested by Local Visa Office?

2) I would also like to know what you guys think of doing Upfront Medicals (for PNP out land applicants only). Is there any proof that it will speed up the process? Any positives by doing it upfront?

I know it will affect the time I have to "land" if I do medicals up front.

Thank you all in advance for the great advice and taking time to answer my questions.

Hi.

Do you think the actual countries where a candidate lived matters for the processing times?

I lived in Russia, US and UK, AOR 28th October. Uploaded the FBI police clearance (which I waited for ages) last week, but I had no updates since medical (Nov 9).

@Druce:

1. Upload your PCC right away via a CSE.
2. Ditto for medicals
3. Review your submitted documents again, any incomplete information puts your application in a risk of getting rejected.
4. If you want to be sure about the CSEs getting through to your application leaving your application safe then raise a request for GCMS notes after a few days (Wait 2 weeks at least, IMO).
