Hi All,

I sent my Passport on 2 week back after receiving the PPR request.
After that , i have not received any update on the profile .

Can you guys share some information , how long usually it takes , is there any thing to worry about :

10-12 days in general is what it takes for application to be approved and closed, after passports being received CIC. A couple more days to get passports back.

This has been the trend for passports in side Canada. Each embassy might vary for their individual processing.

In some cases, passports and COPR are returned first and application is closed latter. But this has not been as common as the first scenario.

Hi,

This may be an early one but I have a question to the members who have received their COPR..
In general, how long is the visa for first landing valid, once issued? My expectation is that it should at least be valid until the date the medical report expires (a year from the date the report is issued), or can it be significantly shorter?

I have plans to land and settle in one go, but it may prove difficult if they don't give us enough time to make the necessary arrangements..

After a long wait I got an email from CIC with subject READY for VISA

I have being requested to submit my passport within 30 days of time frame

And I m not excited no words to say. Thank you everyone in this forum and specially all my mates Octoberian's

Please advice me once the passport is send do you within how many days this will be returned?
