Any idea if CIC issuing PPR as per PA's age? I mean younger applicants will get PPR sooner than others.....Just trying to understand how CIC is working.

No. Age has no role in PPR.

Many Congratulations to all who recently received PPR....

And Hoping to hear good news from CIC soon.....I have been waiting for 165 days. BG Check is still not yet started. Not sure where my application is.

Requested GCMS Notes on 10th March. :'(

Many people have stated that they received PPR when there BG never started. Hopefully next week brings good news for you

My AOR is Oct 20.

Yesterday my Background Check changed from "Background Check - Not Needed at this time " to "Background Check is needed - Not Started".

I was also asked requested to pay the Landing Fee which I have and also uploaded the Payment Receipt.

Can anyone guide me on what will be the next steps?

Congrats my friend, you will be receiving the PR my end of next week, latest by end of the day Thursday.

It is a good sign of PPR. Your PPR should come next week. how I wish to receive a ghost email today too

I just received an email that my application has been updated.
When I logged in I see that my background check has been changed to
In progress.... Finally it seems PPR is on it way in Jesus name.

AOR: Oct 28
Medals passed : nov 2
No changes until March 17: additional docs requested
March 17: additional docs submitted
March 20: background check changed to in progress

Logged in and it shows, that application is updated.
When checking on application details, nothing has changed.

I hope thats is a sign that someone is working on our application.
