Has your BGC in progress?shmel83 said:Are we having some nice news from CIC today?
I know I'm probably still 2 more weeks from the average 152-153 days for FSW PPR wait, but whenever I see somebody else's long waited PPR, I feel so much better...
I hope this is not the case for you, but with the recent trends (last 2 weeks) show that FSW outlanders have their BCG in progress as the last step. Earlier it was the case that as soon as the BGC went in progress, within a 1-2 weeks the PPR came, but that does not seem to be the case anymore. All applicants who have completed 6 months are being told that the processing times have increased, so do not expect a quick return.shmel83 said:Not yet...
According to the spreadsheet below (nicely maintained by AAA2133), bsandy is the most recent FSW (Inland), and his AOR is Oct 31!!! But this is well earlier than the average expected time.tanmaya said:who from October has got PPR, having the most recent AOR date.
Specifically in FSW stream.
Thanks for the info. I heard about this. Hopefully this is not my case. I also heard this very much depends on the actual VO and is out of our control...legalfalcon said:I hope this is not the case for you, but with the recent trends (last 2 weeks) show that FSW outlanders have their BCG in progress as the last step. However, if you are a PNP, CEC, or an inland applicant, then the case is different. There is another thread <http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/waiting-after-background-check-went-in-progress-t403207.0.html> for people whose BGC is in progress and still waiting. There are a few applicants who are waiting since Feb after their BGC went in progress.
Yes, my AoR is September 3, and my eligibility was cleared on Jan 15 as per the GCMS notes and my BGC went to in progress on March 3. Have my fingers crossed. All the best to you too!shmel83 said:Thanks for the info. I heard about this. Hopefully this is not my case. I also heard this very much depends on the actual VO and is out of our control...
Are you still waiting from September? Good luck and I wish you get news very soon!
My AOR is 8th October and still waiting.....cantn said:We have identical timelines.. I think our turn will come after the 20th. Looks like CIC is processing October 14th currently.
It seems like today isn't the day!!! :'(chiyakam said:Hope it is THE day :-X :-X :-X.
Hitting 5 months mark in another 3 days time, hope to have some news by then. In fact, even if a few outland applications start moving, I'll be happy in anticipation..
We have to try to remain positive because although some applicants have passed the 6 months line, the majority of September applicants in this thread got their PPR around 5 months!!!Positive12 said:I hope we get some news today too. Also got 2 ghost emails last week with no update in my account. However I can see a lot of September folks have crossed 6months, and Background check is still in progress for them, I hope this won't slow down PPR for Octoberians?
