Hi it would be great if we can add charts for background process too. Few mentioned that background check started immed after medical pass and most of they didnt see any status change on background check.

So it would nice to add a chart for background check date.

The problem is that the status for most of the outlanders (if not all) remains not started until to the very end. So it is really hard to have a representing data.

I think once ECAS status shows "Inprocess" background check will start automatically it seems. May be CiC login is not getting updated time to time.

Which one gets updated first ECAS or CIC login ?

Yeah, plus it is quite random.

My background process started before medical was passed. I even had ecas access for a few days and meds were passed today. So i doubt you can any thing meaningful except number of days since bk check started till decision.

Bg check in progress - 22 October
Ecas: In progress - 22 October
Medicals: Not needed at this time

Hopefully it shows "Passed" soon.

glad to hear from you and all the best.

In my case, my doctor was probably slow or may be because we are more applicants, medicals took longer. We did those on 8th. I checked twice with them and finally they uploaded on 23rd or so. After that i saw medicals in progress for like 2 days and finally passed today.

If you haven't already, i suggest following up with your doctor.
