With so much activity for the first week october applicants, I now wish I should have applied it a couple of weeks earlier!

There was activity, but not for all the applicants who received AOR in the first week of october. In my case AOR was on 2nd october but there's no update at all after medical passed on 10th october. So be positive , PPR will be there for you too, regardless of date you applied.

Is Background check in progress status is a pre req for PPR.

I mean if background is not started at all. Chance of getting PPR is less or wat ?

Yeah...my background check is "hasn't started" and Review of Eligibility "in progress"... been like that for a long while now. FSW applicant from Nigeria. Visa office is Accra.

Depends on where you are applying from. Candidates from Nigeria are handled at the Accra Visa Office. You should be able to get that information from the CIC website.

I believe most of the PPR's received for October AOR's are for CEC category and mainly from New Delhi .. FSW inland and PNP might come in next batch ?

Either GOD knws or CIC. All we can do is just keep checking here, keep checking our mails , sleep every night with a miraclous hope for the next day Lol. I really never expected that PNP category can be put on hold like this. Looking at the present scenario, i only pray that this wait of PNP guys dont go beyond six months

they should process the PNP first after you paid additional money to get 600 points ..

we are not able to predict anything . the recent rain is CEC and All Oct applications from India ( FSW,PNP )
