Same, background went to need needed, and it was Sunday when that happened. Nothing since, have no idea why that happened but we are not alone.

I have a scary question ... So we see these PPR comes in batches ... ssay july , aug , oct , etc... so if we didn't get into these monthly batches , are we going to fall into the more than 6 month thread ?

Your timeline is very similar to mine. Did you background status ever changed to In process

Yes my Background check changed to "In Progress" only a few days ago ..... exact date shld be there in my earlier messages.

I had sent my PSK PCC via CSE to them right before the status changed, but don't know if these are correlated.

Hi Guys

I am looking to land into big trouble here.

I am supposed to give my passport to German consulate on 4th Feb for work permit, who would return it probably within 10 days.

Since we, october applicants are now expecting PPRs in end of Jan or mid feb, i dont know what i am going to do if my employer makes me travel to germany in mid Feb or end Feb (this is most probably going to happen)

I think there should be an option of submitting my passport in Germany as well, but then again, I will be there only for a couple of months, will the Canadian consulate/embassy give me my passport back in that time?

Once you have the confirmed dates of travel to germany and your stay period is confirmed...please contact your VO for change of visa office..it takes 10 days to get PR VISA and COPR when VO recieves it ...

first confirm the dates..if you get PPR before that then choose not to travel...get your COPR first ..thats the best you can do.

may people have recieved it in 10 day ..you can check the Passport sent to ottawa thread...

and offcourse you cannot be 100% sure that you will get it in 10 days..
