Matt, why did you choose this date for PPR in your signature?

In my GCSM notes there is an information on page 1 under "Group" which is "secure outstanding".
If you are under this category, it means that your application will not be completed within 6 months but instead probably be issued in around 7-7,5 months. That's why.

Hey, I am waiting too. Yesterday I called CIC, the agent said my case is in normal process :-X :-\ :'(.
And it seems not many OCT applicants are left behind.

Please check 1st page of your GCMS notes under "Group". What is written there?

Thanks Matt for the reply. Could you please tell me how I can apply for GCSM and if it will cause any delay on PPR email?

Most likely you will see "secure outstanding" over there which means around 1,5 month longer processing time after 6 months. I hope you will get PPR as soon as possible though, and I will be wrong, brother. Mine is just a guess. Nothing more. Remember this, please. Best of luck.

I am mentally prepared for one year waiting :P
Question: Can I apply for TRV when the PR is being processed? I have my PGWP till 2019 April. But my TRV is expiring on June.

hello Guys,

why do u want to apply for Canada , there are no jobs here . Come only if u r ready to do labour jobs.

There would be hidden discrimination(not on ur face) by companies in hiring you if u r are from Asia , whites gets priority in every job.

i moved here in 2015 and was a senior professional in INDIA with qualification from IIM but am doing labour jobs in warehouse ... what looks good may not be good ......i burnt my bridges before moving here so difficult to return
but guys think n apply only if u r ready for low jobs like cleaner/waiter/labor etc.

sincere advice.

I am assuming if you were from IIM, then you must be making big bucks like 20-30 Lacs in India. Why I first place you left for Canada?

Its like leaving CAD$ 60,000 job in India when you could afford everything from Chauffer to Cook to Maid to Caretaker...You Left for Canada and now you are discouraging us :-X

I have heard that IIM guys could get job anytime in India, so it won't be bad to return

Also if you are still stacked at low paying job in Canada, why don't you return or maybe you are just fake like hell!

Buddy, congratulations.
Its great news.
Can you do me a favor?
Can you please look at the page 1 of your GCMS notes under "Group" and tell me what is written there? If you have more than one notes please share all of them with date. It's very important for me (us all) to estimate our processing time.
Once again, congrats and best of luck in your life in Canada.
