This thread gets so little action. Where are the october applicants. I am super frustrated because there's been no updates on my application after almost one full month post AOR. What's the damn hold up?!

This might be the reason of so many ITA's in one month. almost 5300 ITA are given out in a month and as many applications will be recd now. The process will definitely delay. All this is due to OINP who ruined the whole system.

More ITA's : this could be one of the reason for the delay... Also, as I heard from many that sometimes CIC officers are assigned to clear the backlog of work, ie Work permit, Tourist Visa, etc...

So, the delays are quite common in most cases... We can hope for the best...

I see. But I guess we really don't need to worry about it. I am pretty sure that they invited the number of applicants whose applications can be processed within 6 months of time. So just wait and watch. I was also little bit concerned but then I found out that they are focusing only on inland applications. And there is no movement for outland applicants. I believe when any outland application moves forward, our applications will also move forward.
