So... I was staring at the spreadsheet and analyzing it for a while.

Out of all PNP Outland applicants who got AOR in Nov 2015, here are the ones with BG check in progress:

Red Emotions, AOR 11/05, BG in progress 2/12
owenaze, AOR 11/06, BG 11/13
Hello.kitty, AOR 11/08, BG 3/18
Travelling_Bird, AOR 11/12, BG 2/23
bellaluna, AOR 11/15, BG 2/2
perfectSkilledMigrant, AOR 11/16, BG 3/17

So, if you have BG check in progress, are you closer to receiving PPR?? But... there is a person here who is waiting since BG check started in November! :-\

Anybody from the above list have any latest updates that they haven't updated in the Nov spreadsheet?

My BG got changed to "not needed at this time" 8 days later though, and that's where I am now.

Based on the GCMS notes vs. My CIC comparison by Doda here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/gcms-notes-post-ppr-actual-processing-timeline-t403916.15.html

1st BG in progress (after medicals passed): check for R10 completeness
switched to BG not needed at this time: R10 OK, security check requested, file transfer to processing VO from CIO-Sydney
2nd BG in progress: security check completed, eligibility/program qualification review
few days later...PPR

If you are lucky enough, the MyCIC updates will reflect this, but my personal theory is that a lot of times, some IRCC officers don't really bother to update MyCIC, or the GCMS/MyCIC link is still buggy, so some people never get MyCIC updates but still ultimately manage to get PPRs.

My own study of the trends, if all goes well, I might get PPR some time mid-April. Seems 5 months is the current processing time at CPC-Ottawa for outland applicants.

PS: Please refrain from posting the same thing in multiple threads, I do not know where to reply to you.

I believe PNP has been one of the fastest category after Nov 2015 :D

AOR Nov 3... but no response so far.. not even medical passed... :-[ Feeling hopeless and frustrated...

BC PNP.. Inland

I am also PNP Inland November.
About 15 guys from our forum got their PPR on last Friday!
Waiting for another big portion soon! :)

I applied Nov 24 and my BG is still not needed, I am worried now since so many people had been approved. Hope gold bless.

Same boat, though not as worried coz haven't reached 6 months yet. But I really hope though that they speeden up and have their process predictable / transparent (i.e., why some get faster, and some very slow)
