Hi Travelling_Bird, I understand you didn't have any updates before this BG in progress since your medicals passed on Nov 13, is that correct? I'm asking because that's my case, no communication from IRCC since November.

Why would they reject you if they don't ask for the birth certificate in the first place? I think you're overthinking it :)

Yes, in fact this is the first update since I passed the medicals, after about 3 months 10 days

Yes, IRCC would want to know when your address has changed. You can send them the information about your new address and employment through a Case Specific Enquiry
Good luck!

Hi everyone, I have my OWP approved but when I applied to PR I upload my old WP that expires on November/2015...my question is: Should I upload my new OWP for immigration? Just in case because I don´t now if they now that Im not in "implied status" and now I have a new status...

I have few dilemma which I want to put through in the forum for your kind suggestions:

1. I am an accountant holding CPA (Canada), ACCA (UK), MCSI (CISI UK), DipIFR (UK), Msc. Accounting ( UK) and CFA Level 2. I got nominated by Nova Scotia and I am planning to land after I complete my CFA in June, 2016. What are the job prospects holding the above designations in Nova Scotia? I do not have Canadian Experience, however I have over 5 years of foreign work experience in investment banking.

2. I recently started an investment and management consulting company with decent capital. I am planning to open the same in Canada. Will I be able to do that with PR? If so what are the procedures? If not, I will look out for jobs.

3. I am a single applicant with EE. What is the best time to get married? If I marry after 6 months (which is after my landing) how difficult will it be for my spouse to get a visa? Will she be given PR too?

4. I am planning to land at the end of June, 2016. After I collect my PR Card (in about 3 months time), I plan to come back to my home country and then decide to go later may be after 3 years. Will that be ok? Later when I go, do I have to land in Nova Scotia or can I land anywhere I like?

Please kindly advise.

Your first two questions are better served in other sections of this forum. :)

3. Since your EE application is closed, you can't add your spouse anymore. Your option for your spouse is family sponsorship, so it doesn't matter anymore when you get married.

4. Yes, that's fine.
