Can u please share your category, whether outland or inland..CEC or FSW??

To be honest, I was surprised myself and had fully expected for it to take 4-6 months.

I applied under FSW Outland from Austria (visa-exempt) and had 451 points. Basically got lucky to submit my profile right before the two draws in september at 450.

I have some questions, Do you get a msg or email to start checking ECAS? I cant get to check it at all. It worked for only 1 day using my UCI showing nothing but my address. Didnot work same day using application number though! Now I can not log in using either.
MyCiC shows med. passed. Eligibility and BG both in progress.

I submitted application and got AOR 31/10/2015. I am FSW living in Canada (No job offer or PNP)

Please advise!

I dont think you are ever notified and you just need to check by yourself every once in a while.

Seems to be different for everybody. I never had ecas access during my entire time after submission and i still dont.

Not sure how they decide when and who gets access.

I don't think you need to do that. You are claiming points only for work experience that you already have so your further work engagement doesn't matter to them in my opinion.

A lot of people seem to have issus with ecas lately. I wouldnt worry about it. Some get access early, others late or never.

Just check in every once in a while to see if you can access ecas or not.

I got a message in my CIC account today, they have requested Canadian Criminal rec check with my fingerprints

Hi Manpreet - Search for RCMP Criminal rec check in <your location" you will get list of centers which is authorize to do so. Go there and ask for digital fingerprinting for RCMP criminal rec check. they will take the fingerprint and enter you EE details in their system and send it to the RCMP ...from there you will get the hard copy of report within 1-2 weeks which you need to upload in mycic profile.

Please ask them that you need your report at your address ..in my case they filled the address of CIC and RCMP sent the report directly to CIC ...and i had to send the email and LOE to explaining the situation..... hope this helps
