Hi,


I am getting a bit concern, I submitted my application on Nov. 4 and got an AOR on Nov 4. The following day Nov. 5 I got an email and saw that my medical was reviewed and my MyCIC account reflected Medical passed.

On Nov. 8, for background check it changed from Not Needed At This Time to Not Started.

I have received no updates since. Does it take so long for Background check to change from Not Started to In Progress?

The process as slowed down :

I just received message that I need to upload my IELTS results.

Has anyone received below message earlier? how do I upload document?

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the
review of your application, we require the following documents:

IELTS: Original IELTS language proficiency results (photocopies are not
acceptable) This must be received at this office by: 2015/12/02

Do you mean that this message was sent to your regular email? What about your Mycic, did it change or show update?

I got PPR yesterday, which was really fast. Applied on 2nd Nov.

Many many congratulations!!! First person you got PPR from AOR in November.

I updated the spreadsheet.

Can you share your timeline like ITA date, ECAS access date, BG in process date to update the SS.

Through myCIC only... Only one line changed for status of documents requested.. Nothing else changed.
