Things are going extremely slow....I don't know why.

This process requires extreme patience.

I know what you mean, but I think it's still much faster than it was before EE.
I can't imagine submitting an application and then waiting *for years* before you know the decision... It's like a special kind of hell))

My details:
Got an ITA on Oct 2, FSW Outland, CRS 481, still haven't submitted e-APR as I was waiting to get my reference letter. Will submit as soon as I get my docs translated.

Thanks a lot for the spreadsheet! It's great to be able to see the statistics!

Hi,

Please add me to the spreadsheet.

ITA- Sep 18th
FSW INLAND
Applied-6th Nov
First AOR-6th Nov

No other developments yet. Everything else not started.
NO ECAS Access.

Thanks,

APL

Hi,

I just got the ECAS access. There are only two lines. The last one states that they started processing my application on Nov 10. I got the AOR on Nov 03.

Things are moving pretty slow in comparison to other Nov AOR.

Hi,

I think it does....hope your ECAS gets sorted out soon.

All the best

Can anybody please take the time to clarify the process for me a bit? I'll just be submitting my e-APR in a couple days.

As far as I understand, it goes like this:
- you submit your e-APR,
- you get an AOR,
- they check the application for completeness, and you get access to ECAS where you can check your app status,
- med check,
- PCC check,
- BG check (everything else apart from med and PCC?)
- DM
- PPR (what does that stand for, btw? I realise that is a positive decision, but what does it mean exactly?)
- COPR.
There will also be some "ghost emails" here and there.
Sometimes there will also be requests for additional documents/clarifications, sometimes even if the documents in question have already been submitted.

Is that about right?
Thanks!

How did you check your status in ECAS? When I enter the Application Number which start with E and 9 digit it tells me there is no information.

Hi Alifur, looks like Tishfaith answered your question already. And I see you got ECAS access. Best wishes with your application...

I think that's about it. However, the first step is 'Review of Eligibility' where they check if the applicant is eligible to apply under the stream (FSWP, CEC etc.) they've applied...

Do they change status to review of eligibility? I thought the status remains throughout till DM ?

Thanks a lot, mcadam! Can you please also comment about the PPR?

I think the status stays the same in your myCIC account, but changes in ECAS.

Oh okay, I didn't know the status remains the same.

I think PPR means 'Passport Request' (usually from the visa office nearest to the applicant's resident address), I stand to be corrected...

In case anyone wants to have an idea on processing timeline for their application, you can checkout the sticky thread on the first page. It uses data gathered on this thread since Express Entry was introduced in January...

Hello,

I applied for PR on 4 November. Today I received a request to provide additionally Schedule 4 and 4A. I have one question. Dose anybody know why I need to supply Schedule 4 A. As far as I understand this for is for Business, entrepreneur or self employed category. I applied to NS under express entry demand stream. Anybody else was requested to provide Schedule 4A?

Thanks
