AOR in November 2015 - Let's get together

For me I didn't receive any ghost email for COPR, just logged in at random to see it was updated.

There is no rule ....no logic.... it is just to random ... people getting PPR in 2 months and others waiting for 8 months or more .....I know every case is different but for me when I got my notes they had no activity between december 4th and Feb 1st (when they were generated) ..... 2 months my file is idle ...and I read around the forum many noticing the same thing .....so Isnt that unfair? Illogical? ....

Hello,

is there a time limit on when the passport needs to be sent after getting PPR ? and usually how many days does it take for them to send the passport back ? i have travel plans my the end of may and if i do get my PPR by the end of april. would it be safe to send it and receive the passport here in canada or should i travel and send it from another country. and is it also possible to send to another visa office outside canada ?

Some people get 30 days to send pp and some get 15 days. It will mention in your PPR letter. I got only 15 days to send it.

congratulations to all people who got their PPR. hope we are on the way.

I don't understand how come more than 70% of October AOR have received their PPR and only 37% of November AOR recieved their AOR. i think that they are too late on NOV AOR

Well, apart from individual exceptions, if you look at the big picture, they're working on a first-come first-served basis. So October applicants will be procecced before November applicants - I don't see anything strange in the numbers you mentioned, am I missing something?
As for whether they're late or not - we're only just entering our 5th month of wait. The heavy PPR rains used to start at about 4 months waiting, but that was back in autumn, it's more 5-6 months now. You'll see some raining in November thread in a few weeks, I'm sure, and in fact, we already had our first one, for inland applicants.

Hi Tiffany, I wouldn't worry too much! I am truly shocked mine was processed so fast, especially given the holiday, it just seems crazy. But I did pay for the expedited shipping going there, still it only arrived early last week. I am sure you are going to get COPR soon!

First Come First Server on the bases that October Applicants have got more PPRs than November Applicants. Similarly more PPRs for November applicants than December applicants.

Like cjs said, it's FCFS after the application crosses 3.5 months mark. Before that there can be a few 'done in 2 months' exceptions, but they're just that - exceptions.

As for your earlier post about file being idle - according to my notes, my file is just lying somewhere in Ottawa for 4 months now without any movement)) I think it's quite logical, based on what we know about their processing. As for whether it is fair or not - I don't really think the notion of 'fairness' is applicable here.
