Hi seniors,

Can you tell me what percentage of the March applicants received or yet to receive their PPR more than 6 months after their eAPR? :o

I am a December 2016 applicant and am wondering how how reliable is the 6 months to PR time frame. ;D

Hi guys, I got a passport request yesterday after adding my spouse to my application so will need help with some info.

We are required to send an updated family info (IMM8) however can't find this form so will like to confirm if It's same form as IMM008.

Secondly do we have to send this form along with the passport or do we have to upload it on the CIC portal

Will appreciate your responses and wish everyone still expecting the best

Hi i aslo got married in august and informed cic about my marital status change. They requested me to send generic application form, spousal questionaire, updated pof, marriage photos, spouse pcc, rprf and application fee receipt, family information form(imm5707)and travel history info form. They did not asked medicals for my spouse, but already we did upfront medicals for her. so i submitted medicals also. I submitted all requested documents to cic on November 21.

After 8 months yesterday my background check changed to in progress. As per your experience in how many months i can expect ppr. i am fsw inland applicant and visa office is new delhi

Thank you!

Hope that's a good sign. I think applicants from NDVO can give you a better clue about it.

Hello Amir,

Welcome to the club!

Depends on different factors. After passing eligibility if you are determined admissible, you will get the PPR soon - within 6 months. Otherwise your file will be screened for security by CIC's partners, the process for which CIC says there is no time-frame, especially if you have served military or you come from an Asian country like IRAN, ...! 8)

What's the issue with "Asian country like IRAN, ...!"? War/Organised crimes?

Hi there, I notified CIC after i got my PPR in September and was asked not to send my passport in and to submit all you were also asked to submit except for an updated proof of fund which i did send to be safe... and it took another 10 weeks to get a new PPR... Hope that helps

Another week ends :(

Barring a couple of small good pieces of news, the rest is bleak!

i'm telling you, nothing happening before January now. please let me be wrong.
