CIC agents were right that Do not call before march 2017,means due date for every March AOR will be March 2017..

Question. What is chances for rejection after 8 or 9 month ? What will be reason ?

Hi adnan. Assuming bg checks are all clear, I think chances of rejection are very low.

What I'm thinking is, what happens if local agencies do not respond to cic's questions even by then?

Hi mubzali. I started to think it's the nationalities that cause these delays. Most people on the list are from Pakistan, Iran, Turkey and Egypt - countries that have a lot going on and probably cannot reply cic's questions very fast.

possibly. could definitely be a factor but how do you explain the applicants from these countries who did end up receiving their PPR's within the 6 month mark? so that argument doesn't add up. if that is true though, this is neither in our control, nor CIC's since until they hear from the local agencies of these countries, our applications are in limbo then.

I remember one guy from Turkey who got his PPR in about 5 months. He was under PNP though. So the truth is, I don't know.

Come on, it was you who said if it didn't happen at the 6 month mark, it's likely to happen between 7-9 months. Why lose hope now?

The only other reason I can think of is that the people who are being made to wait, without any reason, could be because they have mentioned Ontario as their destination. Considering that most of the immigrants are going to Ontario so may be they are trying to limit that flow by using some strange filtering criteria. Quite possible that I am wrong because I dont know the destination for all of people who are still waiting.

Anyway, I am just fed up with all this waiting and speculation .

not losing hope. just being practical because December is coming up now and i'm re-assessing how much work Ottawa will be doing.

shouldn't concern us. ITA's have no bearing or correlation with PPR's. we're past that phase

Do you ever feel the fear of never getting a ppr? I try to push this thought out of mind but I mean seriously, is it 100% for sure that we'll get it somehow?

at this point, the only thing that can get you rejected is something drastic popping up in your background check which ends up making you a risk to Canada. so, no - not really; i don't really think about that. if your's is a straight forward case and you are a regular applicant like any other, we should be fine. it's just a waiting game.
