Yes you are right! The chance is too small to worry about at this stage. Just wanted to consider all possibilities.

I just called CIC and found out my medicals have been extended.

Now is that good news or bad? It probably means I won't be receiving ppr soon. Otherwise they wouldn't be extended. And why don't I see them as passed in my account?

I just called CIC and found out my medicals have been extended.

Now is that good news or bad? It probably means I won't be receiving ppr soon. Otherwise they wouldn't be extended. And why don't I see them as passed in my account?

I believe it is good news because you don't have to redo medical and spend money again. But it doesn't necessarily mean you wont be getting PPR soon. There have been several people on the forum whose medicals were extended and they got PPR within two months after its extension. So let's keep hope alive

8 months and 3 days now. finally requested GCMS notes, just because you know it's $5 lol. not trying to be a downer but going by the trend and seeing there has been zero movement for FSW Outlanders from Ottawa recently, i'm pretty convinced there's nothing happening in 2016 for us. Chances are they'll get around to addressing these in the first quarter of 2017 which really puts me in a dilemma about a lot of things

i like your optimism and i hope it comes through for all of us waiting before the year end but let's be practical: it's already November 25, which is exactly a month away from Christmas. maybe the first two weeks of December see some activity but let's face it, December is pretty much a write-off otherwise. Ottawa doesn't work during christmas holiday season - staff and employees are away on leaves etc. and everything is slow. And Ottawa is already slow in processing FSW applications

Hi mubzali. I started to think it's the nationalities that cause these delays. Most people on the list are from Pakistan, Iran, Turkey and Egypt - countries that have a lot going on and probably cannot reply cic's questions very fast.
