Right to information act?

Well, isn't it squeaky clear she has to submit the request under the "Access to Information Act"?

In your previous post, you posted the following towards the end -

PRIVACY ACT
Personal information is usually requested under the Privacy Act.
There are no fees charged for request made under the Privacy Act.
The purpose of the Privacy Act is to protect the privacy of individuals with respect to personal information about themselves where it is held by a government institution and to provide individuals with the right to access such information.

Note: Personal information which belongs to an individual who is not a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or currently living in Canada must be requested under the Access to Information Act.

It's like the AOR is our wife who is pregnant and we are counting every month of her pregnancy. Hopefully the "baby PPR" will born in the 9th month.

Hello There,

I have been a silient member in the community,

AOR 26/Feb

and sometiime july end or August 1st week my BG went to In progress 2nd time. Since then no update I called cic today they explained that it is still in process.

today i received a call from CIC stating your medicals will end in february/2017 will you be able to do the landing before that.

Is it something everyone receiving if so after the call within how long can I expect the PPR email(agent stated with the a month).

Hi Rahul. You should get it really soon.

I haven't received such a call but there are quite a few of us whose medicals would expire in early 2017 and went from passed to something else recently.

When you called, what did they tell you about your background check. Did they tell you it's still continuing?

I called twice actually in the past week, one agent told me that they are processing and was not clear about anything ,

the 2nd one yestaerday said everything seems to be fine she said everything seems to be fine on file officer will contact if anything necessary,

One my friend applied on Feb/26 also received call from cic to his lawyer but I do not know the details yet.
