Thanks naseryas. So is it really our turn soon?

Yes its our turn VERY soon. Since this week is done, we'll reschedule our hopes for next week. ;) :P

However, on a darker note, I see that a lot of OINP applicants for November received a Procedural Fairness Letter (PFL). I know it isn't connected but just seems like 1 batch gets stuck with things like this.

I don't know what a PFL is so I don't really get what you mean :)

Its a letter where they give you time to provide evidence against doubts they may have (eg: insufficient balance, work experience, intent to reside in the province, etc).

My point was that there is always that 1 lot of people who are given extra scrutiny and may be rejected at the end :(

Piyush!

Hope we don't have to deal with such things! Next two weeks will bring many of us good news.

Around 15th Jan if medicals are only valid for 1 year.

Does anyone know how to check the new validity if CIC in fact extends the validity of medicals.

Hi Fatemeh. As you remember, it had gone from passed to in progress last week, and just yesterday it went to not needed. I hope there is nothing wrong.

How about yours?

You can either call the call center or order your notes.

Hi Lahoria
It's my personal opinion.
I think they did not extend medical any outlander any category. When they decide final review if medical is going to expire they required new medical before sending mail for ppr.
For inlander they extend their medical only.
My medical is going to expire on 13/01/16.
Aor 05/03/16
But still silence no response.in case they approved case and send golden mail before 15 December 2016 than my medical is OK after this date cic go slow and close process because they are planing to celebrate Christmas and new year +winter vcation.
When They come back my medical will be expired.

Don't worry! Guess it means you do not need to redo the medical.

Mine is valid until Feb. 7th, and they've just started to re-assess Feb. medicals. My friend's medical that is going to expire on Feb. 2th has been just changed to not needed. So I think mine will be changed to NN next week.

Hope this is a good news fro all of us! :)

Mine expires Feb 22nd. Hoping the PPR comes through before there is a need to re-asses the medicals!
