Is it possible that after 8 months eligibility ( I mean employer) is not checked? Perhaps my former employer has already changed his phone number since that time. How will they contact him?

Hi Alina. My guess is that they don't contact each employer if they are satisfied with the letters in terms of consistency with noc code descriptions. That would be very tedious.

On another note, since your file is processed in Kiev, maybe you can try to contact them. Maybe that could help.

Please add me to the list.

Алина, Вам отдельный привет. Держитесь!

Congratulations to all those who got their PPR today.

Congrats to everyone who got PPR recently...

So my medicals went from passed to not needed on Nov 5, and today (Nov 8 ) they went from not needed to in progress. Go figure? My medicals expire January 20 2017, so there should be 2.5 months to go. I'm hoping that they will be extended, as someone said often happens.

My last set of gcms notes was ordered Aug 9, and arrived yesterday... Nov 7, after I sent them an email a couple of weeks ago asking what was happening with them. They were apparently generated Aug 18, so who knows what they were doing with them until now. Everything to do with security is completely blank, though everything else has been marked passed by a case officer. I called again yesterday too and was told the same thing I've been told the past two months, that we're awaiting my husband's bg check to be done and there's no set timeline.

And so it goes. I really don't know why it's taking so long - there's nothing for them to find. I'm wondering whether to contact CSIS, as some others on the 6 months and more thread have done.

PPR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got visa ready email (Ready for Visa / Prêt pour Visa) exactly at 6.28 pm indian standard time after 7 months and 14 days of AOR. Thanks to each and every person in this forum for your support. I wish and pray each one of you waiting should get PPR very soon. Waiting is no fun. I almost lost hope and stopped checking my cic portal and this forum for 4 weeks now. I am so glad it happened today. Thank you guys. God bless.

Wow! Congratssssss. So happy for you...

Hi there,

I think if cic is satisfied with the documents you submitted they won't check it with your previous employer anymore. My gcms note indicates that the officer was satisfied with the documents but not verified it. As long as they see that it is authentic and you didn't misrepresent I think they won't verify it anymore.
