I'm still waiting for PPR as well (AOR Mar 4, FSW Inland). My medicals also changed this morning from "passed" to "not needed at this time". Assume it's some kind of automated thing that gets triggered 2 months before your medicals expire. Sigh.

Hi Lahoria. Mine went to in progress. I don't know what we should make of this. Do you have any idea? When does yours expire?

Medicals would expire in January. I am not sure about the implications of this either. As per GCMS notes security checks are pending. Hoping for a PPR before January so that we don't have to redo medicals.

If you are in Canada and have not visited or lived in any of the designated countries since you had your medical, then IRCC may extend the validity of the medical exam.

how do you know the date your medicals are valid until. mine were submitted in Feb 2016 but on my CIC profile it only changed to passed after i got my AOR. what date counts as the one year form which they are valid?

They are valid for one year from the date of the examination. Do you remember when you took it? Did the status of yours change these days like some of us here?

Can any one please tell me how much time does CIC take to revert with GCMS notes?

I know the third party portals take not less than 45 days. but how about CIC? are they consistent in sending them withing 30 days time frame?

Yes they generally are

Feb 22, 2016. haven't seen any change in my status on my CIC profile these days like it has for others. medical results still show as "passed"

Maybe because yours are going to expire about a month after most of us here. I don't know, just guessing.

at this pace, it's looking more and more like the PR's are going to come through next year around the March time, which really screws up my entire planning for the coming months. i am really hoping that is not the case and that PPR comes through before the year is over for all of us waiting.

Do you really think it will take that long? Your analysis said we should be good to go within 7- 9 months past AOR. I'm more inclined to think the changes in statuses is because they're actually working on our files. Am I being overly optimistic?
