Hi guys,

I have been following this thread since June as I remember I sent my application first week of march. I applied thru a lawyer so I have not much information on all the dates in my timeline. Until August I found out that my AOR is really Feb. However I just want to share my timeline to keep your hopes up. I encountered alot of unexpected issues with our application. Got my PPR Sept 21, 2016. Will be submitting out passports tomorrow since my husband needs to renew his passport before we submit.

Feb 24, 2016 - AOR
Feb 25, 2016- Docs requested (Schedule A)
Aug 12, 2016- Received Procedural Fairness email informing my application will be terminated ( according to CIC I did not respond within 3 months for more docs requested for my spouse's med). We did not get any request regarding the medical records. But we sent the documents within a week after we got this email.
Sept 21, 2016 - PPR!

Until now my CIC profile BG check is still in progress.
Just keep positive, i know it's hard to do, my sanity is already hanging by a thread.
Good luck to everyone!

Thank you Canadianrrk, Fatemeh Njm, Mian Mian, Helen33, mkadnan, coolhyd

I wish all of my march fellow mates get PPR email very soon :)

No I didn't. I find these notes useless. They arrive late and they tell you nothing about the present. I usually just call them. Last time few days ago. They said everything is ok and file is in Ottawa. Im CEC Inland, with 3 dependants. No additional docs requested, everything was upfront.

hi
any whatsapp grour for march fsw

Anyone here whose application is being (or was) processed at the Bucharest visa office? (This visa office was initially assigned for applications from Bulgaria, Moldova, Romania, and now it additionally processes applications from Lebanon, Jordan, Syria and Iraq as I understood). I am from Iraq, AOR march 27, called IRCC and they told me my file was transferred to Bucharest on June 10th and they have no access to details. I sent an email to the VO ten days ago with no reply yet. Also they don't allow phone calls to ask about a status.

:-[ :( :'(

I emailed CIC last week but this is what I received from them.

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Please note that the processing times provided to you on our website are an approximation. Currently, your file is still in process and there is no maximum timeframe to finalize an application.

If further information is needed, the responsible office may contact you.

Please visit our Help Centre for more information.

I do not know what to do now. I am counting 7 months on 17. I also requested for GCMS notes.
But still hoping for the best for all of us!

I landed this morning with my common law spouse in Calgary airport and got some congratulations from the officer for officialy being permanent resident.

End of the story for me.

I hope the same ending for all of the remaining!

For me it took 6 months but for a friend working at the same place it took almost eight months but he got it! Don't lose hope!
