I am sorry, but haven't seen a big wave of PNPs since month 4 of processing...

It's been three weeks of CEC and FSW.

NDVO,ie New Delhi Visa Office, gave to many people I know, almost all.

Since I am in India I thought my VO is New Delhi. But yesterday I called CIC and they told it is Ottawa. They told that my BG is still showing in progress, as it is done by a third party they don't have more updates for me regarding the same.

I haven't travelled outside the country after the age of 18 and thought my BG would not take much time except document verification.

The wait is really frustrating and also I am bit worried of rejection at this stage.

Am I the only one left for PPR with AOR Mar 24 - FSW inland? I called CIC two days ago, and was informed that they have already completed our (family of 3) background check. I will probably have to contact our MP if I don't hear from CIC until Tuesday.

I feel that 1st week of March ,they gave it to FSWO, then 2-3 week to PNP and 4th week to cec inlands.

Ottawa has given to FSWO last week to the people living in US.
I'm not sure,but I noticed this.
According to the trend,1st week of October, fswo should get it,whose aor is in march

I am desperately waiting ....................................
I hope 1st week of October ......

I'm left too. FSW inland/ AOR march 19 (family of 4). I thought today would be a good day for PPR but nothing. I hope everyone who is still waiting will get the PPR e-mail soon. It takes a lot of patience.

What is MP by the way? Thanks

Member of Parliament (MP), I'm not sure though if MP will get the standard answer - so unless our file seems to be taking longer than it should, the information they will obtain will just be its in process - or may get a very detailed info, Im not even sure if it will speed up the process. But still, if things don't keep moving, I will ask assistance from them.

Many have tried this and it doesn't make a difference.

My application is being processed at LDVO. In this case should I call LDVO in an effort to get update on my application status or on the Canadian office number?

Please let me know the number to call from outside Canada/London. I have completed standard period of six month on my application.

Guys,

Appreciate if anyone can help me on this. Got my CoPR and passport stamped today.
My wife is 8 months pregnant and we are expecting our baby by November.

In PPR letter from NDVO it is mentioned to inform in case of pregnancy.
As per the direction from New Delhi CHC help desk, I have informed the office(Delhi immigration) by email.
I sent the passports after that and got visa today. The current one-time entry VISA will expire by 15Jan2017.

I have the following questions to ask.

1. Can I travel alone (As a principal applicant) after the baby is born with the current VISA?
My plan is to move to Canada by December. My wife is not in a position to travel with me, she will join with me next year.
2. Will my VISA becomes invalid after my baby is born?
3. How long will it take to get VISA again if my baby wants to be added and get the VISA?
4. Any chances of extending the VISA expiry date just for my wife?
5. What are the consequences if my wife doesn't land in Canada before the expiry date?

What would be the best way to tackle this situation? I would be very grateful if any expert can clarify this.
Many thanks in advance.

I know it will be hard, but try to land along with your wife before the baby is here. Because once the application been closed you cannot add any family members to it, instead you have to go through the lengthy and costly process of family sponsorship.
You may double check by googling this issue or call CIC.

You cannot extend your wife's VISA, and if she didn't land before its expiry she will lose here status and you will have to submit a sponsorship application to her (time and cost)

Called CIC today, got few update for my case,

Eligibility: Passed
Medical: Passed
Security Check: Passed

The call centre told me right now my case just need a final review.

I am just wondering is that means everything is passed and I just need to wait them send me the PPR email right?

My timeline is
AOR: April 7
Second BC IP: August 24.

Thank you very much
